The Godfather of Soul

In all fairness, the Godfather of Soul has a point there. Constitutionally and morally! So let’s not make a big hooha of that statement. His vast intellect, and that encompassing wisdom has moved him to explain to the Malays, that they are not against the non-Malays, just that the Malays still needed that big Push to ensure that we will not be devastated with a Free Market Economy. He also added that Perkasa may be disbanded if the objectives of Malay Rights are restored!

The Perkasa Convention was full of soul. Dressed like typical Malay warriors, donning headgear and brandishing the Keris, it must have been a truly moving performance that would bring tears to your eyes, and a rendition that would have moved your soul. Even though only 4000 delegates turned up as reported, so many things happened at the event that will change the history of the Malays forever. The 6000 that did not turn up, like ourselves, had already agendas full in our diaries, but our hearts are still in full support behind Perkasa.

And right beside ‘the Chosen one’, we now have the ‘Godfather of Soul’, who has given his blessing to the New Movement and continuing the fight for Malay Rights, where he left of after his resignation. The Malays have since suffered catastrophe after catastrophe, and has since retracted another percent behind the Non Malays. During his tenure, he managed to raise the economic standing of the Malays to an incredible 1.5 percent. Previously, Malays held only 1.5percent of the economic cake, and he managed to increase it to an incredible 3 percent. However, after his reign, it seems the economic cake has stagnated and dropped nearly a percentage point.

So the Chosen One and the Godfather of Soul is back and this time with the hope that within the next five years they may be able to increase it to at least 30 percent, or better still 67 percent to reflect the status of the Malay and Bumiputra population. The Godfather was punitive in stating that UMNO had failed the Malays, and he and the Chosen One will not let this rot continue.

In his endearing speech to the delegates as reported:, “Though his voice remained level, the 84-year-old still managed to stir the crowd into a frenzy when he remarked on how unfair it was for non-Malays to be allowed to call Malays “pendatang (immigrants)” and not vice versa.     “I am not racist, I love my country, we are not racists … if we cannot be fair to the Malays, then we cannot be fair to other races,” said the country’s longest-serving prime minister from 1981 to 2003. He also stressed that Malaysians must decide between freedom of expression or economic stability. That public debate on racial issues has hampered Malaysia’s economic growth and will destabilise the country.

The former prime minister also blamed his successor Tun Abdullah Badawi for the current racial tension, suggesting Malaysia was more united under his 22-year rule.

Come to think of it, 1.5 percent is helluva lot of achievement.  Please don’t think that this figure is small. Take for instance 1.5 percent of 100 billion ringgit is a cool one thousand five hundred million ringgit (RM1,500,000,000.00)

Imagine, without the Godfather of Soul, how far left behind would the Malays be. He has singlehandedly managed to cultivate at least a couple hundred of Malay Millionaires, and he has only about 18 million more Malays to fight for. Even a third world country like Vietnam already has lots of millionaires. The average monthly income in Vietnam is about 2 million Vietnamese Dong. Indonesia’s average monthly income is about one million rupiah. And Malaysia’s average monthly income is still a miserable 1200RM. So you see how far left behind we are compared to all these third world countries?

Now together, the ‘Godfather of Soul’ and ‘the Chosen One’ are affirming the Rights of the Malays, and they will fight tooth and nail to ensure that Malaysia and Malaysians and Malays will not be left behind Vietnam and Indonesia. In doing so, they are also ensuring equal rights and a peaceful coexistence with all the different races.

Assuming it takes him about 22 years to create 300 millionaires, so it will be about 60000 years from today, when all Malays will become millionaires. Maybe a bit long, as most of us may get bored with the waiting, but at least someone is trying hard to fight for our Rights.

So, we must continue to support a just cause. Let everyone knows that at last we have ‘the Chosen One’ and ‘a Godfather’ who treats us with great respect and will lead us out of this misery. It really is a wonder how MIC and MCA managed to secretly help it s people to achieve the other 97 percent of the economic cake and still continue to maintain it until today.

Now that Perkasa has enlightened us to the fact that UMNO is not up to the job. The Chosen One has taken over with the blessings of the Godfather. He has also given us a new revelation, that if Malay politicians do not identify with Perkasa, they will lose all hope of retaining their seats in the next election. Such hope, such enlightenment, such illuminating revelations,.. all Hail the Chosen One.

So, remember voters get voters, pass the news to everyone, – should Perkasa get a foothold in this country, all of us will benefit, rolling in bundles of money, when the Malays  get their millions, and the spill over drops down to the rest of the nation. It won’t be long now, only 60,000 years more to go.  I just envy Vietnam and Indonesia, which has overtaken us and their citizens already making millions every month.
