Comment by PAC chairman on involvement of Israel in accessing information in August 2008
During the Public Accounts Committee Meeting on 11 August 2008, to discuss the performance of Khanazah Nasional, the PAC chairman himself, Dato Seri Azmi Khalid made a comment prior to the arrival of TS Azman Moktar with regards to an Israeli “perolehan”. Apparently he admitted that Israel potentially have access to our information.

Tuan Pengerusi: PAC ini sudah menjadi macam satu focal point kepada rakyat mendapat apa yang dikatakan maklum balas dan diharapkan kita lah membantu mengatasi, although we have no executive power tapi kita ada suara yang didengari oleh kerajaan. Namun secara umum itu susah, we can zoom to specifics. Kalau ada yang spesifik macam visa on arrival is very specific. Kelulusan seperti Yang Berhormat bagi Gelang Patah sebut, ia ada spesifik.

Tuan Pengerusi: Ha! Perolehan baru ini yang melibatkan Israel. It’s very scary you know because people have accessed to all our information. Israel is working together dengan US, they implementing security system that they want to know everyone around the world. US have privatize dia punya security system, so everything is privatized termasuk Guantanamo Bay pun privatize. It’s managed by the ex-CIA officers who form their own company to manage.
