After APCO, what else?

Now, while APCO may not be in the picture anymore. Who can ensure that their “subsidiaries” or related companies and “spies” will not be? They can simply start another RM2 company (well, they can make it RM4 or whatsoever) and the whole process continues.

OK, we have caught them red handed with APCO. The constant embarrassing moments when our ministers try to dodge it, or refuse to comment about it, the secretive attitudes and detachment towards the name has already given them away. What will be next?

There are rumours that the PM will not extend the contract (like what they did to our CPO) when it ends in August. And the remarks from the Home Minister that they will look into it yet again, repeating his statement again, although the issue has been promised to be looked into some time ago.

Besides that, how to ensure that the system is NOT MONITORED REMOTELY? An arrangement where they can still control from the background while the foreground appears to be a locally established company. After all, the systems were installed by people from their land, and the system belongs to the police department. Who else would be authorized to check? Who would even dare? If a government appointed body is to do the job, who is to ensure that they would not side with the government (and which government)? At this moment where our judiciary and even our King is under their duress, you just cannot take in everything they say or do anymore.

So whether they will end the contract or not does not matter anymore. Because in the end, they will take that as the reason to stop all investigation over the issue. They will take it as an excuse to forbid all speculations, all doubts, all questions, and the relevant parties will still be protected, hidden, and they will still enjoy all the ill gotten wealth and whatever power they hold. At most, some “don’t know who” will be put on trial to take all the blame, even if they are totally not related to the case. The case may even be a closed trial, and the scapegoat will again be a mystery. Sentence imposed, executed or not, no one will ever know.

As this is the decision and acknowledgement of the highest authority in the country’s executive level, Najib should take full responsibility. Not brush this issue away with just a  “not extending contract” announcement. He should resign for his incapability, and mistake, in the governance of the country. He should be ashamed and thus resign for betraying the support of the people.

And, should PR take over Putrajaya, be prepared to find a whole room of documents burnt down to the ashes just like one of the states in the 12 GE where the MB went missing and the DUN heavily guarded. If the documents were too much, be prepared to find the whole room, or even the building burnt down.

We don’t just want the issue to be closed. WE DEMAND THAT IT IS PROPERLY HANDLED, TO PROVIDE COMPLETE AND DETAILED ANSWERS TO THE RAKYAT, WORTHY OF OUR VOTES, AND TAX MONIES.
