Thank Dr M by voting for BN, says Mukhriz
Voters in Hulu Selangor can show their gratitude for the sacrifices made by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad by supporting the Barisan Nasional candidate in the by-election.
The former premier’s son Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir said if the people in the constituency were thankful of his father’s contribution to the country they should give full backing to Barisan.
Mukhriz was commenting on Datuk Zaid Ibrahim’s statement on Tuesday where he called on voters to reject Barisan, saying supporting the coalition would be tantamount to giving Dr Mahathir another chance.
Zaid was also quoted as saying that the people had enough of Dr Mahathir who was prime minister for 22 years.
