It STILL doesn’t add up

Referring to the bachelor degree numbered 2004100372, my attention turned to the graduation seal of the said certificate.

The graduation seal reads “The graduation seal of Edith Cowan University was hereto affixed pursuant to a resolution of the council dated twenty third day of January, 2004”.

However, the graduation seal posted on http://www.ecu.edu.au/GPPS/governance_services/resources_file/statute_26.pdf section 4.7 reads “The graduation seal of Edith Cowan University was hereto affixed on the … day of ….. by the authority of the Council”

This graduation seal has existed since the initial government gazette published 4 June 1996 as attached. Together with all amendments. The wording has never changed since 1996.
