1 Malaysia – My Understanding

I feel sad that many Malaysians do not understand the concept of 1 Malaysia. This is my understanding and I am sharing my enlightenment with all you ignorant Malaysians who cannot appreciate the brilliance of 1 Malaysia.

1 Malaysia means that all the political parties will merge into one single large entity. Gone are the days of multiple-party system.  For a start, UMNO. MCA, MIC and all the current BN parties will merge into one. Thereafter all the opposition parties will join. This is called 1 Malaysia. The administration of the day will carry-out a careful census and allocate ministerial posts in accordance with the majority race and thereon going down the scale. This will also be practiced in the allocation of government jobs – such as the Director General of a department would be Malay followed by its deputy being a Chinese and followed by its sub-deputy being an Indian.

Thereafter, all races would be represented in positions subsequent to these and the formula is replicated all the way to the janitor and guards manning the gates. Isn’t this a brilliant plan? If so, then why all the grouses? Come on, even those born out of wedlock or what society classify as illegitimate children can form their own party and be represented. An acronym could be MBA.

The other day I was having coffee and cigarettes with an old friend of mine who proclaims to be an expert in politics. I was rather confused by all the acronyms of existing political parties and asked for his clarification. Most willing, he told me that UMNO stands for “Untuk Melayu Nasional Organisasi”, MCA is “Malaysia Carnal Association”, MIC is “Many Indians Corrupted”.  He told me that Bank Neraka is not the Central Bank of Malaysia and that both Petronas and EPF are the private kitty for the administration of the day. In fact he also told me that the twin towers is supposed to be Mahathir’s batu nesan in perpetuity after his passing.

Furthermore, he added that the hidden hands behind a lot of politicking is our former finance minister called Mr. Dime. He says many people seemed to have forgotten about him.

Now I consider myself political savvy and am sharing with all you ignorant Malaysians. 1 Malaysia stands for equality and opportunity for all. It stands for the end of race based political parties and a true Malaysian spirit. I remember the days of TAR and Razak when muhibah was the buzz word. Every day the song would be played over the radio and TV. One day, my mum who was quite old and a bit short of hearing remarked when the song was being played – “what is this they singing puki-ma, puki-ma every day”. We all just laughed!
