Last minute appeal to voters of P212 – Sibu

In a way they would be right that voting in this by-election in Sibu would not change the state government of Sarawak nor the federal government of Malaysia. Where they would be wrong is UMNO/BN is edging closer to their 2/3 majority in parliament with the recent defections from PR and the loss of Hulu Selangor.

In another couple of hours, polling stations will open in Sibu and the voters of Sibu will be called upon once again to exercise their democratic right of choosing their representative in parliament.

Some may have already made up their minds how to vote. Some who have not yet made up their minds will go out and vote, making up their minds at the last moment. Some who are eligible to vote will not vote because they feel that politics in this country is so messed up that nothing changes and what they wish for is never delivered.

It is to these last two groups of people that I address this appeal to.

How close? FOUR seats away!!!
