Terengganu PAS aims to topple BN
(Free Malaysia Today) — Terengganu PAS has quashed rumours that it will not be able to wrest the state from Barisan Nasional.
PAS has declared that it will win all 32 state and eight parliamentary seats in the 13th General Election.
Exuding confidence that PAS will fair much better than in 2008, deputy state commissioner Mohd Abdul Wahid Endut said the party’s machinery was in place in every constituency.
He said PAS Terengganu has been visiting the state and parliamentary constituencies since last year and was satisfied with the development.
“We are focussing on all the 32 state constituencies. We began in Kota Putra in Besut and ended our visit of all the DUNs here in Hulu Besut,” said Mohamad Abdul.
He said PAS Terengganu was prepared for a snap poll anytime and campaign officers were already prepared and waiting to activate their operations centre and start registering voters.
