I did the right thing, says Hee

IPOH: Former DAP member and Jelapang assemblyman, Datuk Hee Yit Foong, who quit the party to become an independent, is not surprised over M. Kulasegaran’s plan to resign as Perak deputy chairman.
“I am glad I made the right move by leaving the party,” she said, adding that the problems in Perak DAP would remain as long as party chief Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham and state secretary Nga Kor Ming were around.
“They do not have the party’s interest in mind,” she said, alleging that the two cousins were “power-crazy”.
“I feel sorry for Kulasegaran as whatever he says does not receive the support of the party leadership,” she added.
Hee, who quit the DAP last year, admitted that she was hated by many as her move had caused the downfall of the Pakatan Rakyat government in Perak.
She had said at the time that she had issues with the DAP when her privileges were taken away by Ngeh.
