RPK doesn’t see eye-to-eye with PR now?
(Bernama) – Raja Petra Kamarudin, often described as a maverick political blogger, appears to be not seeing eye-to-eye with Pakatan Rakyat (PR), the opposition pact.
According to The Malaysian Insider news portal, Raja Petra, also known as RPK, had expressed unhappiness over what he claimed as PR having yet to deliver its election manifestos despite being in power in several states for over two-and-a-half years.
RPK’s expression of disappointment came at a dialogue with Malaysians in London Sunday in which opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim also attended.
RPK also threatened to pull out from supporting PR in the upcoming Galas by-election as PR has failed to deliver on promises agreed before the March 2008 elections.
Responding to RPK’s assertions, Anwar pleaded for understanding and claimed that many of the reforms could not be implemented without control of the federal government.
