Batu Sapi by-election to be held same time as Galas

(The Star) – The Batu Sapi by-election will be held on the same day as the Galas polls.

Election Commission chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Yusof said nomination day for Batu Sapi had been fixed for Oct 26 while polling would be on Nov 4.

The Batu Sapi parliamentary seat became vacant after its MP Datuk Edmund Chong Ket Wah, from PBS, was killed after his 750cc motorcycle was involved in a collision with a car along Jalan Coastal at Sembulan in Sabah last Saturday.
