Anwar should be above Wan Azizah, says PKR Wanita

PETALING JAYA, Nov 26 — PKR Wanita has called for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to be constitutionally placed as the uncontested de facto chief above the party president, currently his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
PKR Wanita chief Zuraida Kamarudin said her wing would raise a motion at the party’s national congress this weekend to formalise Anwar’s post.
“He (Anwar) has to be placed above the president,” Zuraida told reporters at the seventh annual PKR Wanita congress today.
“I will raise the motion for a de facto leader’s post to be created as soon as possible and drafted in the party constitution,” said Zuraida earlier during her opening speech.
“The de facto leader’s post cannot be contested and only belongs to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in order to recognise his role and influence in the development of PKR thus far,” she added.
