(The Star) – Pakatan Rakyat is expected to unveil a pre-election manifesto during its national convention in Dewan Milenium here on Dec 19.

Convention director Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa said the convention – with the theme “Change now” – would, among others, touch on Pakatan’s preparations for the next general election.

“There will be 12 speakers from component parties.

“They will talk on several issues, including the policies that Pakatan is offering and its future direction,” he said after chairing a meeting to prepare for the convention at the Bertam Sports Complex here yesterday.

Dr Mujahid, who is also Parit Buntar MP, said 2,500 members from around the country would attend the day-long convention from 8am to 5pm.
