Ibrahim Ali: Seck Chin’s Statement Reflects an Idiot of the Highest Degree

(Malaysian Digest) – Pertubuhan Pribumi Perkasa Malaysia (Perkasa) president Datuk Ibrahim Ali described the statement made by Barisan Nasional (BN) Youth chief strategist Foo Seck Chyn in The Star today as unbecoming and idiotic.

“His statement does not reflect a strategic person but ‘an idiot of the highest degree with no brain’. Who is he to call me or Perkasa extremist?” said Ibrahim in an SMS to Malaysian Digest.

“How about some of the MCA and Gerakan leaders? They support the demands made by Jiao Zong, Dong Zong and Suqiu. We also have proofs that they have made racial remarks,” he added.

Meanwhile, on Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin’s decision to not contest in the next General Election, Ibrahim said it is up to Khairy and the BN chairman to decide whether he (Khairy) should contest.

“If the Chinese support Khairy, then he should contest in a constituency (Rembau) with more than 70 percent Chinese population with Foo as the campaigner. I say this because Khairy has changed tremendously since 2008 election according to Foo,” said Ibrahim.

“I think the ‘change’ he (Foo) meant was regarding the Malay issues. Those who fight for Malay or Bumiputra issues or defending Article 153 of the Federal Constitution are branded as extremists and those who are supporting vernacular schools and getting rid of NEP (National Economic Policy) are not extremists,” he added.

“We are not Malaysians even though we are indigenous peoples who lost a lot just to accommodate the so called ‘Malaysian First’ who dare not sacrifice on policy of national interest,” he added.

Ibrahim also advised Foo to help Khairy to get a minister post.

Foo in a statement published in the Star today said Khairy should reconsider contesting in the next General Election on the reason that the Rembau MP strongly opposed any remarks made by Ibrahim and Perkasa.
