KUALA LUMPUR: Thailand’s world renown scientist Dr. Pornthip Rojanasunand made a major scientific discovery yesterday. A new chemical compound, which was never detected before on record, was discovered. The significance of the discovery lies in the fact that the compound is lethal, which has claimed its first victim so far. Without the discovery, many more innocent lives could be lost.

The discovery was made after Dr. Pornthip was requested by Selangor state government to investigate an incident involving an employee of one of its state exco. The victim, a young man called Teoh Beng Hock, was found dead lying on the fifth-floor landing of Plaza Masalam, Shah Alam. It was believed that he fell from the fourteenth floor of the building.

The lethal compound has very interesting characteristics. Based on corroborated evidence from eye-witnesses, primarily the employees of Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC), which has its office on the fourteenth floor of the building, the compound upon inhaling it can cause a person to lose his orientation, strangulate himself on the neck, write a messy ‘suicide note’ addressed to his boss, hurt his neck, find his way to the stairway, and jump out of the window without conscience (therefore not suicide).

Furthermore, the compound is known to have effects only on (or target?) politicians in a particular alliance called Pakatan Rakyat. Politicians from UMNO and other BN component parties for whatever strange reasons are immune from its effects. Most interesting of all, it only manifests its effects in three locations in Malaysia: Perak, Selangor and Penang.

Dr. Pornthip was puzzled by such effects it posseses and characteristics, and could only say, “Very strange indeed. The world has never ever discovered any chemical compound that can cause such complex effects to a person. Perhaps politicians from Pakatan Rakyat have certain character and value that coincide with the compound. And the location-specific nature is even more puzzling. Perhaps the water, the land, the mansion, or even the frogs or cow-head have a part to play in this.”
