JASIN, March 1 — A PAS leader warned that the party may retaliate if authorities did not stop ‘constant provocations’ by Umno supporters.

Melaka deputy commissioner Adly Zahari alleged that Umno has resorted to “dirty” tactics by intimidating voters and Pakatan Rakyat members.

“Gangster politics by BN is used to scare the voters. We want BN to stop all of this before PAS has to take matters in our own hands” he said during a press conference.

Today, PAS produced two banners falsely attributed to Pakatan Rakyat (PR) leaders which were allegedly made by Barisan Nasional (BN).

Adly also pointed to a DAP’s stage that was torched and a car parked in front of the party’s operation centre that was broken into.

On Sunday, leaflets were distributed in Merlimau with spliced images of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim with Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan and Azmin Ali’s sister, Ummi Hafilda.
