Poor crowd at Pakatan’s launch of Orange Book

(Bernama) – Only about 1,500 people attended the launch of the Orange Book and a celebration to mark the third anniversary of PKR-DAP-PAS rule in Selangor tonight.

Organising chairman Dr Hasan Mohamed Ali, who is also State Executive Council member, in his speech at the function, attributed the poor attendance to tomorrow’s Kerdau and Merlimau by-elections.

Meanwhile, Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, in his speech, said that the Orange Book contained the promises made by Pakatan Rakyat which would be implemented within 100 days of it control of Putrajaya.

He said the state government would also launch a three-year plan for Selangor, which would be known as the Selangor Agenda for the People (Agenda Selangor Untuk Rakyat – ARUS), this March 26.
