KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 — A Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officer admitted today that he is angry with a Bar Council lawyer who had grilled him during the royal commission of inquiry (RCI) investigating Teoh Beng Hock’s death.

MACC assistant enforcement officer Arman Alies confessed that Edmund Bon’s personal attacks against him on the witness stand yesterday had angered him.

“During the inquiry here, how many times did you get angry?” asked commissioner Professor Dr Mohamed Hatta Shaharom at the inquiry today.

“When I’m attacked personally (and) when personal questions are posed repeatedly… when I was questioned by Bar Council lawyers,” answered Arman, referring to Bon specifically.
