KUALA LUMPUR, March 24 — PKR lawmakers piled pressure on the police today to bring to book the men responsible for a sex video purportedly showing Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim having sex with a prostitute.

Three PKR MPs lodged a report at the district police headquarters here following yesterday’s admission by Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Thamby Chik and businessman Datuk Shazryl Eskay that they were two of three men behind the video.

“The police must take immediate action as this is criminal intimidation and possession of pornography,” said PKR vice president Chua Tian Chang.

Former Malacca chief minister Abdul Rahim had said Perkasa treasurer Datuk Shuib Lazim was the third man to make up “Datuk T,” the pseudonym used when the video was first screened to the press on Monday.

He told reporters at a joint press conference together with Shazryl that they wanted to show that “a person who wants to be national leader and PM, was not qualified.”

Abdul Rahim had also claimed that PKR Sungai Petani MP Datuk Johari Abdul had demanded money to defect after the latter was shown the video on Monday afternoon.
