‘Sex VCD’ shows up at Pakatan events

SEREMBAN: Negeri Sembilan PKR Youth filed a police report today over the distribution of a VCD containing the alleged sexual tryst between Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim and a prostitute.
According to the wing’s chief Nazree Yunus, the VCD, containing a 1.47 minute clip, had been distributed in the hundreds by unknown persons during two recent Pakatan Rakyat ceramahs in the state.
“On April 5, during a ceramah attended by Sungai Petani MP Johari Abdul in Jemapoh, Kuala Pilah, the VCDs were left on the cars parked there.
“The same thing happened again on April 8, during a ceramah attended by PKR national Youth chief Shamsul Iskandar Akin in Ampangan, Seremban,” he said.
Terming it as an act of cowardice, Nazree said those responsible lacked the courage to take on their rivals face-to-face.
“This is a dirty political culture, it encourages a ‘blue film culture’. These people are bankrupt of ideas and have to resort to such cheap tactics.
“How come the police special branch personnel who are always present at our ceramahs did not discover this?” he asked.
Nazree warned that if no action was taken, the culprits would become emboldened and perhaps release the full recording in the future.
However, the PKR leader, who filed the report with the Seremban district police headquarters, refused to point fingers but did not discount the possibility of this being the work of Anwar’s political rivals.
