State of Malaysia Today

Isn’t rather distressing that hitherto, Europeans who have always conservatively looked down on other cultures, should now welcome other cultures with open arms while Malaysia is doing the opposite – being the comprehensive moral police of the people and rejecting everything they deemed to be “offensive”.

By Truth Speaks

The 2011 World Table Tennis Championship held at Rotterdam, Netherlands on 8th May, saw exhibition performances by carnival dancers from Rio de Janeiro and the Dragon Dancers from China on a “Journey Around the World”, the theme of the Opening Ceremony. More than 100 countries participate every championship.
It is really lamentable that if such performances were to be held in Kuala Lumpur today, Umno and MCA, through their paid stooges would object on cultural, racial, language, religious and a myriad of other reasons. They will take to the streets with no objections from the police and Utusan Malaysia would play it up as if it was end of the world. Probably only the ronggeng would be allowed.
Isn’t rather distressing that hitherto, Europeans who have always conservatively looked down on other cultures, should now welcome other cultures with open arms while Malaysia is doing the opposite – being the comprehensive moral police of the people and rejecting everything they deemed to be “offensive”.
But all this is just play on the Malay pysche, long brainwashed with inferiority and insecurity of Ketuanan Melayu, Malays disappearing from the face of the earth etc. And there are Malays who are still sucked in by such crude racism. All this in the face of a fast changing world, a world without borders, geographical or racial.
It is happening, by grand design of Umno and MCA. To sow dissension, religious, cultural, language and racial hatred is the surest way to keep Malaysians disunited, so that behind this smokescreen, Umno and MCA can continue to loot and plunder Malaysia ad infiniti. And they are willing to descend to the lowest levels of money, sex and murders to achieve their aim.
There is hope in this dark hour of Malaysian history. More and more Malays have come to realise that they are not inferior to others races. They now know that they have been taken for a ride by UMNO, noting that their “leaders” own multiple properties, often more than a dozen cars including Ferraris and Porsches, not to mention millions of cash in the banks while the majority of the Malays are still poor. It is on these enlightened Malays we place our hopes on, that can and will expose the true evil nature of UMNO to their brethren in the city and in the kampungs.
The Chinese and Indians have done their part by their rejection of candidates from the racial parties in the BN at the 2008 polls as well as the recent Sarawak Elections. We now look to the Malays.
