Don’t let outsiders in on Hasan Ali row, Nasrudin tells PAS leaders

(The Malaysian Insider) – PAS Youth chief Nasrudin Hassan asked his party leadership to resolve the row surrounding Datuk Hasan Ali properly and without outside interference.

Nasrudin told The Malaysian Insider today that the former Selangor commissioner’s recent remarks over tomorrow’s “901 rally” in support of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim that “went against the flow” were the latter’s personal views.

“Translated into an organisation such as PAS, it means that whatever problems that arise must be resolved properly and wisely by party leaders who must take stern action and with authority so as not to spoil the reputation,” Nasrudin said.

“However, PAS Youth has decided to join the in 901 rally… for me there is no problem that cannot be overcome and I ask all groups to look for a resolution and not make matters worse,” he added.

Hasan, who is also Selangor state executive councilor in charge of Islamic affairs, had previously rejected the rally called for by Pakatan Rakyat (PR) ally, PKR, saying it was an act that brought no benefit and would have a negative impact on the youth.
