SAPP fully supports Anwar as next PM
Datuk Anwar Ibrahim himself had made it clear some time ago that there is no issue with SAPP being not under PR’s fold as our real political enemy is BN and in particular, UMNO.

Kota Kinabalu: It is with a sigh of relief to know that there is clear sight at the end of the tunnel. The verdict by the High Court signifies positive improvement where not all judges can be bought and controlled by those in power. At the same time it also shows the government is losing integrity and has poor judgment when this case shouldn’t even have been brought to the High Court at the first place.
SAPP is in full support of Pakatan Rakyat leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to become the next Prime Minister.
SAPP has a good relationship with PR. The top leaders as well as local leaders in Sabah have always been in constant contact. At the Federal level our two MPs have been discussing how to make this relationship effective to topple the BN government in Sabah.
Our MP Datuk Eric Majimbun, in connection with YB Azmin Ali and YB Tian Chua of Keadilan, have discussed seat distributions. SAPP may take two thirds of DUNs in Sabah while PR takes one third. In the case of MPs, PR would like to field two thirds and SAPP may take one third and that is the kind of discussion that SAPP leaders have with PR.
At this juncture, I would like to make it crystal clear to dispel the accusations by some envious people of our stand. SAPP isn’t a stooge of BN.
There are some opposition leaders still prone to talk to confuse people out there with jealousy in mind by saying the SAPP will return to BN. I can bluntly say we do not agree with what UMNO politicians have done to this state by neglecting Sabah for self-interests and self-glory, that is my promise.
