Sacking decision not ‘unanimous’, says Hasan
(The Malaysian Insider) – Datuk Dr Hasan Ali claimed today that the PAS leadership was divided over his sacking as a party member, and that it was not a unanimous decision as alleged by some leaders.
The former Selangor PAS chief said that an “influential” PAS leader had demanded that it be stated in the party’s meeting minutes that he had opposed Hasan’s sacking.
“Unanimous sacking? I am not too sure… that is what I was told. How true this is, I do not know,” Hasan told reporters here.
He also deflected attacks against him for meeting up with Umno leaders some months back, claiming that even PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang had said that PAS did not disallow its members from contacting Umno members.
The Gombak Setia state assemblyman charged Hadi had said this during a closed-door meeting with him, PAS spiritual adviser Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat and deputy Datuk Dr Haron Din in Kota Baru recently.
