PPP to stay loyal to Barisan, says Kayveas

(The Star) – PPP president Datuk Seri M. Kayveas says the party will remain loyal to the Barisan Nasional and would never crossover to Pakatan Rakyat.

Dismissing a front-paged report in a vernacular newspaper that he was holding secret talks with PKR de-facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Kayveas said he had not met Anwar in a long time.

“It is totally irresponsible of the newspaper. I am going to lodge a police report on the matter,” he said.

The daily reported that Kayveas had been having secret meetings with Anwar over the possibility of PPP joining Pakatan.
