Kelantan Kita to deny support for Zaid in Kota Baru seat

(Bernama) – Members of Kelantan Kita (Kesejahteraan Insan Tanah Air) will not support party president Datuk Zaid Ibrahim if he contests the general election on the party’s ticket, its chief Zakaria Salleh said.

He said Kelantan Kita does not recognise Zaid as the president of the party, adding that the members no longer had confidence in him due to inconsistencies in his political struggle.

Zakaria was commenting on Zaid’s announcement that he would contest in the Kota Baru parliamentary constituency in the general election.
