The great scam
The mission of ‘Task Force MyKad’ is to give instant citizenship to illegals and foreign workers with the purpose of putting their names onto the electoral roll.

As he is not confident that the rakyat are wholeheartedly supporting Barisan Nasional, Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak has embarked on a very ambitious plan that is detrimental to each and every Malaysian citizen. And that is none other than the “Great Citizenship Scam”.
PAS Pokok Sena MP Mahfuz Omar has earlier this month exposed the scam and named the Election Commission (EC) deputy chairman, Wan Ahmad Wan Omar, as one of the masterminds of this great scam.
Wan Ahmad has denied being a mastermind but Mahfuz has upped the ante by saying that Wan Ahmad only denies being a mastermind but has not denied the existence of the scam under the code name of “Task Force MyKad”, which is also in cahoots with the National Registration Department (NRD).
The mission of “Task Force MyKad” is to give instant citizenship to illegals and foreign workers (legal as well as illegal) with the purpose of putting their names into the voters roll so as to enable them to vote.
And all these shenanigans were going on while the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) was having meetings with the purpose of electoral reform!
This means that the joke is on the rakyat and we have been cheated big-time by none other than Najib.
While promising us electoral reform, the EC under Najib’s instructions was in fact sabotaging the rakyat.
This is because recently on April 6 in a ceramah in Kedah, Mahfuz has named the Najib’s adviser Osman Razak, National Security Council secretary Tajuddin Wahab, EC’s Wan Ahmad and a few top NRD officers as part of “Task Force MyKad”.
Mahfuz stressed that he is daring in revealing this scam because he has solid evidence and this shows that Najib is cheating the rakyat. Therefore without much further ado, the PAS central working committee has decided to set up an ad hoc team called Anti-Pemalsuan IC (API) to collate information on this “Great Citizenship Scam”.
Mahfuz himself is leading the team. Among the team members are Hanifa Maidin (PAS legal counsel), Hatta Ramli (PAS Kuala Krai MP who was also in the PSC), Suhaizan Kaiat (Johor PAS Youth), Zul Hasmi and a few others who will be joining as the need arises.
Seeking Ruler’s intervention
Since 2010 when PKR’s Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin discovered a plot to give citizenship to 2,000 foreign workers in Hulu Selangor, Pakatan Rakyat has been asking the BN government to set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) to investigate this MyKad scam.
Even in October last year, PAS Youth has discovered that busloads of foreign workers were being taken to the NRD in Putrajaya under suspicious reasons.
Of course the goverment will not be setting up any RCI as they themselves are the ones behind this scam.
In a recent interview with Harakah, Mahfuz mentioned that he and his team will try to arrange a meeting with the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal so that they can submit a memorandum to the Council of Rulers to request for a RCI to be set up.
“This IC scam jeopardises the nation’s sovereignty. It is a very serious offence and places the country in a very great danger. Immediate steps must be taken to expose and stop this scam which is operating in the PM’s office itself and is headed by the PM’s righthand man,” said Mahfuz.
