Brace yourself, Election is coming: Info appears on Maxis Menu

When we first saw the screenshot of Maxis *100# menu above through a post on Lowyat.NET Forums by bananajoe – the original image has since been deleted – we thought it was an excellent Photoshop job. Just to be sure, we then turned to our fellow Twitter friends who have active subscription with Maxis and asked them to check their *100# menu.

It turned out to be true – their *100# menu also shown the same “Gen Elec 13 Info” as per bananajoe’s screenshot. However, we also found out that the GE13 option somehow is only available for postpaid users and it doesn’t appeared on prepaid customer’s menu as verified by our Twitter friends with Hotlink subscriptions.

We have no idea since when that particular option has started to appear on the menu but nevertheless, we take that as a huge sign that the 13th General Election is about to take place very soon. Either that or a test run by Maxis engineers. With that, we would like to end this post with a video:
