Perkasa issues ‘shadow cabinet’ dare to Anwar

But PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution says it’s not worth the time to respond to statements made by the movement.

(Free Malaysia Today) – Perkasa today challenged Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim to announce the opposition’s shadow cabinet this month in view of the approaching general election.

Perkasa information chief Ruslan Kasim said the people wanted to find out from the shadow cabinet who would be given the trust and mandate to form the next government.

“If Anwar refuses to announce the line-up now or delays it, it’ll be a ploy by Anwar as we all know that he will usually promise some candidates certain posts.

“He fears that his deceit will be exposed,” Ruslan was quoted as saying by Bernama.

He said the people wanted to know what cabinet posts would be given to PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, its deputy president Azmin Ali and his wife Shamsidar Taharin, and PAS deputy president Mohamed Sabu if the people chose the opposition group to form the next government.

Responding to this, PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution said Perkasa’s statements were not worthy of a reaction.

“It’s not worth for me to comment on any statements from Perkasa,” he told FMT.

The Machang MP also claimed that Ruslan was someone with no credibility, but did not elaborate on this.

“I know who Ruslan is…,” he added.
