Dr Chua: MCA confident BN will regain Selangor

(Bernama) – The MCA is confident that Barisan Nasional would regain control of Selangor, said president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek.

He said the people should evaluate the performance of Pakatan Rakyat state assemblymen before casting their votes in the general election.

Some opposition assemblymen could not even solve simple issues in their constituencies, such as potholes, clogged drains and mulfunctioning street lights, he said.

“MCA understands that when voters picked their representatives, they were always enchanted with those who talked a lot, and the opposition members did talk a lot.

“But they must also be aware that they need the ‘wakil rakyat’ to serve the local constituencies because we are a developing nation whereby, a lot of problems need to be solved,” added Dr Chua.
