I would like to share the reality and facts on the recent ‘haze’ issue in the Selangor/Klang Valley. The ugly truth is, it was the Kuala Langat North Forest Reserves that were intentionally set on fire about a week back. It was a collaborative effort by the authorities to speed-up the jungle clearing process due to land transactions.
I was told by the villagers that someone could have started the fire more than a week back because they saw a man speeding out from the forest trunk road one late evening, then hours later the fire broke-out. Here are my pointers and you be the judge ….
*How can a fire break-out in the evening when there’s ‘no heat to spark’!?
*How come the fire started just at the edge/boundary of the native’s village and not in the middle of the forest?
*It took the BOMBA and others more than a week to control the fire where the surroundings are full of lakes and ponds?
*Have they extinguished the fire yet….? Was the fire too hot to handle?
*Was any of the media informed of this fire by “any authorities? And why not….?
I sincerely hope that the press or media can highlight this topic as the natives have given all that they can to protect mother earth and yet these culprits are still hiding themselves, abusing the power given to them and the trust by the PEOPLE! I personally think that it is our Human Rights that govern our own health and not authorities with no sense of conscience but their own pockets.
