Voting out BN not solution – Mojigoh

Voting out the government is not the solution, but putting forward ideas on how the government should be run is, according toJunior Chamber International (JCI) Senator Datuk Dr Marcus Mojigoh.
He said youths have been actively posting their ideas on the Internet, website and social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.
“I see a lot of anger on the Internet. Can anger be the solution to what we are facing today? Can it change our livelihood by showing our anger on the Internet?”
Mojigoh, who is also Putatan member of parliament, urged the young people to be part of the individuals who put forward ideas on how they want the government to be run, and that voting out the government is not the solution.
The Malaysian Government invites the people to be part and parcel in determining the country’s future, he said, adding that the government has created youth parliament as the younger generations play an important role in the future.
“Train yourself to be a good leader; train yourself to have patience and become a good citizen,” he stressed at the press conference of 2012 JCI Week National Project – ‘Stand Up, Take Action’ here yesterday..
Mojigoh also encouraged young people to join politics and JCI as it would train them to think rationally.

“I don’t think that is what JCI wants; JCI members are disciplined lots,” he said.
Mojigoh also appealed to the public to help the young people of JCI in their cause to help those in need.
He raised the issue of climate change, global warming and food crisis that we are facing, saying that the younger generations are the owners of the earth.
In Malaysia, the Prime Minister has committed himself to reducing carbon emission by 40 per cent, he said.
“As young citizen, you are part of it.”
He added that the Prime Minister is also committed towards making Malaysia a developed and high income nation by 2020.
“I am confident the young people will be a part of it, and to be sure how to go about, which direction to go to see the dreams of tomorrow.”
