PAS Youth urges Khalid and Azmin to end their bickering

(TMI) – PAS Youth today urged Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim and Selangor PKR chief Azmin Ali to make peace as their bickering was casting a negative pall on the Pakatan Rakyat state government.

Its chief Suhaizan Kaiat (pic) said the people were suffering due to the rising cost of living, which had been brought about by Putrajaya’s mismanagement and corruption.

“But instead of helping the rakyat, Abdul Khalid and Azmin are busy bickering in Selangor,” he said in a statement today.

“The Selangor government should give their undivided attention and focus to the welfare of the people.

“This will be the glaring difference between Pakatan Rakyat and Barisan Nasional, not further adding fuel to an internal conflict which will give the rakyat a negative impression of the opposition,” he said in a statement today.

Suhaizan said the internal conflict did not benefit Pakatan Rakyat at all nor would it help the people of Selangor.

“This will slowly erode the positive perception of the rakyat towards Pakatan Rakyat if we continue to bicker among ourselves.”

Suhaizan said winning 53% of the popular vote in the 13th general election is an indication of the faith and confidence that the people have in Pakatan Rakyat.

Suhaizan emphasised that PAS was not being a busybody in attempting to interfere in the tussle between Abdul Khalid and Azmin.

“It is our responsibility as a component party in Pakatan Rakyat to give advice and ensure the long-term survival of  the state administration.”
