(Fz.com) – Selangor Menteri Besar and one of the candidates for PKR’s deputy presidency post, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, believes that his trustworthy nature is what sets him apart and differentiates him from the other five candidates.

Abdul Khalid who was asked by reporters after launching U-Pustaka at the Raja Tun Uda library today regarding his candidacy and what makes his special, simply said: “They can trust me.”

When asked about the advantages and what he can actually bring to the party should he find himself in the number two spot, Abdul Khalid said that his belief in “reformation with integrity” will resonate with the grassroots.

“One of the themes I was talking about was reformation with integrity. It means that if you want to make change, you must be trusted by the society to make (positive) changes. After five years and a term (in the Selangor administration) since 2008, we have already practiced this concept.

“It not something new,” he said.

Abdul Khalid will be challenging incumbent and party rival Azmin Ali for the PKR number two spot and will also be battling vice-president Tian Chua, secretary-general Datuk Saifuddin Nasution, Hulu Selangor branch member Datuk K Ramachandran, and former Puchong division chief S Murali.
