PKNS gets shareholders nod to sell 30% stake of PJ Sentral to MRCB
(The Star) – PKNS Holdings has agreed to sell 30% stake of PJ Sentral to Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd (MRCB) for RM85.3mil, which was approved by PKNS’ shareholders in a meeting on Friday.
In a statement to Bursa Malaysia on Friday, MRCB said the 30% stake represents 58.247 million shares of PJ Sentral, which is held by PKNS.
Simultaneously, PKNS and PJ Sentral has also negotiated an agreement to grant development rights to PKNS to build Tower 2 for RM91.11mil.
The Tower 2 will be built on a parcel of land held by PJ Sentral.
