Khalid Samad tweets after being censured by Sultan

(NST) – Mere hours after the Sultan of Selangor delivered his speech, Shah Alam Member of Parliament Khalid Samad tweeted “the holy month of Ramadan is the time of taqwa and it means the fear of incurring Allah’s anger. Just because we are scared to of anothet human being that we incur god’s wrath” (“bulan Ramadhan bulan keTaqwaan. Taqwa bererti takut kpd kemurkaan Allah. Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah had described the MP’s demand to remove the executive power of Selangor Islamic Religious Council (Mais) as “jahil” (extreme ignorance), “biadab” (insolent and akin to challenging the powers of the rulers.
