Anwar: Kajang move has weaknesses
(NST) – Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim admitted today that the Kajang move had many weaknesses, which prevented the party from achieving its objectives.
However Anwar said despite the weaknesses found in the Kajang move, the party went forward with it as they wanted a change in the Selangor administration.
“We managed to do so many good for the people with the current administration and we are hopeful that we will do better with the new administration,” he told reporters at the Permatang Nibong mosque here.
Meanwhile, when asked on the leaked screenshots of a WhatApp conversation of Mohd Zuhidi Marzuki, Anwar said he would not interfere with the matter, which was an internal Pas issue.
“If we interfered it would maker matters worse.
“We will leave it to the Pas central committee to settle and take the appropriate action,” he said.
A news portal had reported about a leaked screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation that revealed PAS leaders were mulling the possibility of leaving the Opposition coalition.
