Selangor MB crisis: Nik Aziz not backing down from pro-Khalid stance

(The Star) – PAS spiritual adviser Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat has restated his support for embattled Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim despite the alleged revelations by PKR of the latter’s alleged misconduct or corrupt practices.

The former Mentri Besar said it was improper to divulge one’s shortcomings in public.

”I still stand by my statement and support to PAS president’s statement not to replace the Mentri Besar.”

“Like I have said before he has done no wrong so far,” Nik Abdul Aziz told reporters at his  house at Pula Melaka on Wednesday.

He was asked to comment on the six reasons why Khalid Ibrahim should be removed as the Selangor MB as revealed by PKR’s secretary general Datuk Saifuddin Nasutìon on Tuesday.

The discord within PKR has spilled over to PAS with some leaders supporting PKR’s move to replace Khalid, while others have come out vehemently in opposition to move.
