(NST) – The Pakatan Rakyat still runs the Selangor government by virtue of its two-third majority despite the on-going political crisis in the state, Pas deputy president Mohamad Sabu said today.

He denied that Pakatan had lost its “ownership” over Selangor following the sacking of Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim as a PKR member and that there was no cause for panic as the administration remained status quo.

“Pakatan is in control of Selangor.

“This is because we (Pakatan) have two-third majority in the state legislative assembly. We can still decide what to do later for the government,” he said.

Mohamad, popularly known as Mat Sabu, was commenting on Shah Alam Pas member of parliament Khalid Samad who was reported as having said the Selangor state administration was no longer owned by Pakatan.

He was speaking to reporters during a break from the hearing of his sedition trial over his Bukit Kepong statement at the Sessions Court here.
