PKR insists Wan Azizah is the only one
Saifuddin confirms that PKR submitted a letter to the palace on Monday.
(Free Malaysia Today) – PKR is adamant that it will nominate only one candidate, Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, for the Selangor menteri besar’s post.
Party secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution said at a central leadership council meeting yesterday, they decided to stay with its decision to nominate only Wan Azizah .
Saifuddin in a statement also confirmed that PKR had submitted a letter to the palace on Monday.
“PKR deputy president Azmin Ali also reiterated his support for Wan Azizah as the sole candidate for the menteri besar’s post,” said Saifuddin .
