“Looks like Raja Petra is more efficient than MACC”: Azmin

(NST) – Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali has chided blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin, who claimed to have a secret document that contained evidence of the former’s alleged corruption activities.

Azmin, who was on his first official function answered cynically to a question on the secret document and said: “It seems that he (Raja Petra) is more efficient than the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).”

Raja Petra in his blog post in May 2012 said he had a document which was handed by an MACC officer that contained enough evidence to arrest and prosecute Azmin for corruption involving millions of Ringgit.

The blog post entitled “Deep throat comes out of the closet” also claimed that the then Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had told the MACC to take No Further Action (NFA) on the case and bury the file.

Azmin yesterday handed over 763 cows to the Selangor local councils during a ceremony in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidiladha 2014.

Asked on his line of executive councillors, Azmin said they had yet to decide whether PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail would be appointed.

“I need to discuss with all Pakatan partners and the process (of selecting the exco) has started since yesterday.

“However, we have yet to decide anything but the line would be ready before Friday,” he said.

He is expected to seek an audience with the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharifuddin Idris Shah tomorrow to present a list of the new state executive councillor line-up.
