Kajang Move finally crashes and burns
Rafizi has failed even in the final plan to place Azmin Ali under PKR’s control.

It looks like Rafizi Ramli’s Kajang Move is meeting with failure after failure.
First, Anwar Ibrahim was supposed to contest the Kajang by-election so that he could replace Khalid Ibrahim as the Selangor Menteri Besar.
When that failed, they changed the plan so that Anwar’s wife would contest that seat instead. Then they tried to show that Wan Azizah had the support of the majority (that is, 29 of the 56 Selangor ADUNs) by revealing the SDs that they signed.
Then five of those 29 did a U-turn and signed second SDs, which said that they signed the first SDs under duress and did not, in fact, support Wan Azizah as MB. This has been reported by FMT.
Seeing that Wan Azizah did not have the support of the majority after all, the Sultan decided to appoint Azmin Ali as the MB, the second of two names that PAS proposed as MB, which was publicly announced.
Realising that there was no way for PKR to block Azmin from becoming the MB, Rafizi is alleged to have suggested that the party tie him to an “Aku Janji” and make him sign an undated resignation letter in case he violates the agreement.
Azmin, however, knew that his fate would be in the hands of the Sultan and not in the hands of the party. He already had 15 supporters from PKR and DAP and another 13 from PAS. With his own vote, that makes 29, enough of a majority that he needed to become the MB.
So he did not sign that undated resignation letter as he would have become MB anyway.
