(The Rakyat Post) – Suspended PKR member Badrul Hisham Shahrin, or Chegubard, claims to have statutory declarations of five Pakatan Rakyat assemblymen who pulled back their support for PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail for the Selangor Menteri Besar’s post.

He alleged that three assemblymen were from PKR and two were from DAP, claiming they had done so a few days after openly pledging their support for her.

“I was recently informed of how a few days after pledging support for Dr Wan Azizah, they had made a different statutory declaration.

“They had pulled back support for Dr Wan Azizah and apparently pledged loyalty to whoever was chosen by the Selangor Sultan.”

PKR, and DAP, had said they fully supported Dr Wan Azizah for the Menteri Besar’s post during the crisis which saw PKR deputy president Mohamed Azmin Ali eventually replacing former Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.

Badrul Hisham has continually alleged that Mohamed Azmin was secretly lobbying for the post himself, going against the party’s decision in doing so.

“The question is, who prepared the SDs which are uniform in format and wording?”

He also wondered if the SD’s were arranged by Mohamed Azmin in his efforts to become Menteri Besar.

Badrul Hisham said he would hand over all the evidence in his possession to the party’s disciplinary committee if it promised to take stern action on those who went against the party’s directions.

“If the party can guarantee that it will take serious action, I am ready to hand over all evidence in my possession to the party’s disciplinary committee.

He also said that a similar incident had taken place earlier, where Sri Andalas assemblyman Xavier Jayakumar had denied signing an official letter stating his resignation from the party over frustrations with the party.

“He denied all this and claimed to have made a police report. However, many have continued to believe that this document may exist.

“I ask Xavier to name the police station, the date, time, and number of his police report denying an SD of him withdrawing support for Dr Wan Azizah and that the resignation letter was fake.”
