RON97 petrol now down by 20 sen

(The Star) – The price of RON97 petrol has gone down by 20 sen today, bringing its price to RM2.55 per litre.

The Finance Ministry in a statement said the new price of RON97 was to take effect from 12am yesterday.

Petron Petrol Dealers Association president Datuk Alang Zari Ishak said that they have received the circular earlier yesterday and had already informed dealers to change to the latest price.

The last price change of the premium petrol was in September, where it had increased by 15 sen.

On Sept 3 last year, the price of RON95 petrol and diesel went up by 20 sen a litre in an effort by the Government to rationalise subsidy.
