Rosmah : “I dare swear that I do not have a Facebook account”
(Bernama) – She said the government never questioned the involvement of students in the political arena as they were allowed to do so. “However, we question the logic and reasoning of students involvement in issues brought by the opposition and supporting the issues blindly without basis,” she said.
The prime minister’s wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, has urged university students who are studying locally and abroad to give their undivided loyalty to the country.
Rosmah, who is also president of the Welfare Association of Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers (Bakti), advised students against betraying the nation.
“I feel sad and disappointed when we recently witnessed a student of one of the universities in the capital city being manipulated by the opposition party,” she said.
She was speaking during a Bakti dialogue and friendly programme with National Students and Umno Overseas Club at the prime minister’s official residence at the Seri Perdana Complex in Putrajaya, today.
She said the government never questioned the involvement of students in the political arena as they were allowed to do so.
“However, we question the logic and reasoning of students involvement in issues brought by the opposition and supporting the issues blindly without basis,” she said.
Rosmah also said there were 13 Facebook accounts registered under her name.
“I dare swear that I do not have a Facebook account at all and those Facebook accounts are not mine.”
The dialogue and get-together session held in conjunction with the 2014 Umno general assembly and jointly organised by Bakti, National Students and Umno Overseas Club was attended by more than 300 students from local and foreign universities.
