(Malay Mail Online) — A full audit on severance payments to former aides of Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim has shown clear elements of power abuse, Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali said today.
Azmin declined to comment on the actual amount of the severance payments to his predecessor’s aides, but said the audit report showed a clear breach of rules and regulations in the payout process.

From the papers below, it appears that the RM2.5-2.6 million compensation for severance pay and early termination of contract were properly approved by the Board of Directors of MBI after all. I wonder whether the investigation is going to prove otherwise.
Anyway, we will have to wait until December to see what the investigation reveals and whether there was a violation of procedure and abuse of power as what has been alleged. If there was then a MACC report must be lodged so that Khalid Ibrahim’s arse can be hauled of to jail.
