Former Information Minister Zainuddin Maidin, in the briefest entry so far in his blog, noted an observation by one “Anak Kelantan” that Defence Minister Hishammuddin Hussein was returning from his holiday to undertake tasks associated with flood relief, but only after being instructed by Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

“These are tasks which are under his responsibilities (as Defence Minister),” quoted Zainuddin from the comment signed by Anak Kelantan. “The people affected are hoping for the armed forces to assist them to cope with the situation.

“Must he wait for the Prime Minister to call him before he returns?”

All this must be kept in mind by the people, stressed Anak Kelantan, when they consider him as a possible Prime Minister.
