Recording of alleged plot against PAS president leaked
(Malay Mail Online) – An audio recording was leaked today allegedly of PAS deputy president Mohamad Sabu plotting a “counter-offensive” against party president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.
In the 2-minute-10-seconds recording, a voice said to be Mohamad’s described a strategy to change PAS members’ perception of Abdul Hadi after the Selangor mentri besar crisis.
“In general, the image that the president is a great ulama (scholar) and maksum (infallible) must be denied,” said the man purported to be Mohamad.
“To me, this counter-offensive must be done in the next one to two months. Not in speeches, or in blogs, but to meet leaders who would be delegates. Basically, we monitor and they lead.”
The clip, titled “voice recording transcript part 1”, was posted on the Facebook profile called “Tuc Tok Usin Ceroi”, which is popular with the clergy faction in PAS.
