Mahfuz-Sirul meeting set for Sunday
PAS information chief is leaving for Australia with the convicted killer’s mother and younger sister for a face to face meeting.
(Free Malaysia Today) – After a failed call from fugitive Sirul Azhar Umar on Monday, PAS information chief Mahfuz Omar has announced that he will be flying to Australia this Sunday to personally meet with the convicted killer of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu.
The call placed last Monday, was supposed to be a tell-all, where Sirul had promised to reveal “who gave the kill order”.
Later at 1.30pm when the two did speak, Sirul only extended his apologies and stated that he could not make any disclosures as promised at that particular time.
Accompanying Mahfuz to Australia will be Sirul’s mother and younger sister, the Malaysian Insider reported.
Earlier today, Mahfuz was in the news again when a press conference was called for in his name at the PAS headquarters in Jalan Raja Laut.
