(Malay Mail Online) – Police are in the midst of carrying out a raid on the office of PKR secretary-general Rafizi Ramli in Petaling Jaya today and have seized several items suspected to be related to the #KitaLawan rally.

Rafizi, who is currently under police remand, is said to be present.

“From what I’ve been informed, police broke down Rafizi’s office door. We have some staff on standby near the headquarters, so they are there now.

“We suspect it has got to do with #KitaLawan,” PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil told Malay Mail Online when contacted.

PKR MP and lawyer G Manivanan, who is also on the scene, confirmed the raid is taking place, but said he could offer scant details.

“Not sure, not sure yet. Talk later, have to go,” he told Malay Mail Online.

Rafizi and activist Hishammuddin Rais were remanded yesterday for three days to aid investigations into their alleged involvement with the #KitaLawan rally.

Rafizi was arrested under the Sedition Act on Friday allegedly for a circular calling for PKR members to attend yesterday’s rally.

In a statement later, Fahmi confirmed that police have seized several items: four computers, one circular related to the #KitaLawan rally and one media statement on the same rally.
